Art Sculpture Lesson
Megan, from Artists for Kids, showed slides of sculptures. There was a whale made with chairs, a sculpture of an artist's head, more than 2 metres high and covered in chewing gum, a lego sculpture, and more. Then the students had a chance to make their own sculptures using branches, glue, and strips of paper. Colourful and creative!

The students chose the symbols and learned how to overlay text and manipulate the size and rotation of the text.

A Few More Bighouse Photos (Thanks Nir)
A huge thank you to the parent elders, Nir (Josh's dad), Christine (Carter's mom), Pat (Max's mom), Pat (Cole's mom), Carol (Sarah's mom), and Allison (Campbell's mom), who worked hard and cheerfully, slept little, and made the Bighouse experience possible for the Grade 4s.
