Our Visit to the Bighouse

We arrived back at school tired and smoky after a great visit to the Bighouse.  The students had fun and learned a lot by experiencing life 200 years ago.  Notice their competence making dinner and cleaning up!  The weather was very wet the first day, but the students were prepared.  Thank you Parents. A huge thank you to the parent elders Lynn, (Mira's mom), Toby (Aidan's dad), Terrie (Ella's mom), Coral (Elliott's mom), Glen (Tiernan's dad) and Leah (Skye's mom) who made my job easy.  Enjoy the pictures.  Photos of the salmon that the hunters and fishers caught will hopefully arrive soon.
