Dissecting Owl Pellets with Our Grade 1 Buddies and a Visit from a Veterinarian

This activity fit in well with the Grade 5 study of body systems and the grade 4 study of animal adaptations.

We were also lucky to have Sonja, T's mom, who is a veterinarian, come and talk to the class.  She wowed the students with X-rays and a dog skeleton.  The students asked good questions about her experiences as a veterinarian.  Meet Big Bob the Rat and a dog with puppies (inside her)!
