Welcome to a New School Year

The first two weeks have flown by.  I am already so impressed by the students' enthusiasm, interest in learning, and cooperation.  I feel lucky to be working with a few siblings of students I have taught in other years, students I have gotten to know a little last year in cross country running, skiing, and track and field, and it's  wonderful getting to know new (to me) students.

Happy Summer and Thank You!

It's hard to believe it's the end of the year!  I have truly enjoyed working with your awesome kids.  Each one had something unique and wonderful to offer.  Thank you, parents, for your support this year, at home, in the school, and on field trips.  It is very appreciated.

Thank you also for the generous gifts.  I feel very spoiled.  Thank you for your kind words.  The cards, e-mails, and last day visits made my day.

Have a super summer!  If the kids get restless, give them a box to play with.  Look how much fun they had with paper recycle bins!

We had a wonderful day at the park!  The students played so well together, I told them they should have field trips every day - at least for the next two months.  Thank you again to the parents who drove today.
